This led to Hampton High becoming a platinum Eco School.

Laura was trained as a Climate Reality Leader through the Climate Reality Project and in 2020, she started teaching Environmental Science 120.

In 2022, she was awarded the 2022 Gaia Champion Teacher Award for excellence in climate action and youth empowerment.

Peter Graham

Peter Graham will be running for the People's Alliance Party of New Brunswick in the riding of Hampton, Fundy, St. Martins.

Originally from Ontario, Peter and his wife brought their two children to NB for a vacation to the Saint John region with her parents and sister's family seven years ago. They decided they didn't want to go back! They immediately began looking for work, and in just over a year, they made their move and have never looked back. In fact, they fall more in love with NB every day.

Being passionate about NB, Peter has become increasingly concerned with the divisive policies of the other political parties, which seem to use ideologies to justify creating resentment and division amongst our population.

The People's Alliance appeals to Peter because of its balanced policies, inclusive membership, and genuine interest in welcoming and valuing the thoughts, ideas, views, and needs of everyone. Their belief in working cooperatively and respectfully to find solutions, always with citizens in mind, is needed in today's government.

The party's focus on people and their receiving the care and services they need and pay for is a welcome change. With healthcare, affordability, housing, and education as priorities, it's time to focus on what we need rather than what we want, and the two-party system has long proven unable to get the job done.

Let's work together to build the New Brunswick we all deserve!

Peter Graham D.D., B.A.
