We have so many people to thank for our Small Business Awards Evening being such great a success.
So, let’s begin, thank you to the winners of the 2021 HACC Small Business Awards for supporting local, rising up in times of crisis, bringing in new ideas, and just generally shining with community spirit.
A big thank you to our vendors (Ole Foggy Distillery Chocolat Voyageur Beer Daddy BBQ Gridiron Brewing Busy Day Chefs) who supplied delicious food and drink for all of our guests, you all did a magnificent job, and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to showcase such talented local entrepreneurs.
Thank you to all of our members who came out and enjoyed the evening and celebrated our community with us. We were so glad to see you all there and have a chance to talk with you.
Finally, thank you to the Small Business Week Committee who put this all together. It was excellent and we look forward to seeing how great you make next year’s Small Business Awards Evening.
This year the Hampton Area Chamber of Commerce recognized six deserving local businesses across a number of categories for our small business awards.
The HACC Community Spirit award was won by Ole Foggy Distillery. A new business in Hampton, but one that was quickly recognized for how much they do for our community. Check out they’re showroom, and you’ll find it loaded with great local products from a variety of artists and craftspeople.
The HACC Innovative Business award was won by Hampton Brewing Co. Ltd.. Hampton Brewing Co. has created a unique space for people to come and enjoy live music and entertainment, and has been described as second to none. On the outskirts of Hampton, it’s a hidden treasure you don’t want to miss.
The HACC Workplace Excellence Award was won by Lutz Parish Gerrish for their exemplary support of the community at large, as well as continually offering a place for law students of all levels a place to work and learn. At the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic they went above and beyond to ensure the safety of their staff and clients.
The HACC President’s Award was won by Chris White. Chris has worked tirelessly over the years in her efforts to promote Hampton, and serves on a number of boards with Hampton’s best interest at heart. Congratulations Chris, and Thank you for all you do to promote Hampton, and enrich the quality of lives of its residents.
Each year the Mayor and Council of Hampton meet to choose which member of the Hampton Area Chamber of Commerce best deserves the Town of Hampton Award. This year, the Town and Council decided to give the Town of Hampton award to two equally deserving businesses. For displaying excellence in uncertain times, and for your tireless efforts to keep the Town of Hampton safe, and provide a friendly experience during a difficult time, The Town of Hampton Award goes to Hampton Pharmasave & Hampton Guardian
