This year, we will be changing the structure of our membership fees with one flat rate for all members set at $125 for the year.  With the rising costs of doing business and the additional programs we wish to launch for our members in the coming season, this membership increase is necessary to maintain our operations.  This is the first time our membership fees have increased since 2018.

Some of the additional expenses we have incurred in the past year include: office rental fees, Office & Communications Coordinator and general community support to programs such as the Kings County Historical Society and the Food & Beverage Tour.

We are also very excited to be able to offer you some additional programs and services in the coming year that will add value to your membership with the Chamber.   We will be offering a series of education sessions throughout the year that will be available to our membership either at no charge or at a minimal, subsidized fee.  These sessions will provide educational opportunities around topics of interest to business owners including: the Chamber insurance plan, funding opportunities available through numerous government agencies, how to raise your online profile and more.  If you have a topic you would like to learn more about, please reach out to our office at: hamptonareachambercommerce@gmail.com as we are always looking for new ways to provide learning and value to our members.

Finally, a project that will be coming out in our new fiscal year to showcase your business is our Member Feature program which will highlight every member of the Chamber throughout the year on our social media outlet and in our monthly newsletter.  Each week on our Facebook page, we will feature one to two of our member businesses and these promotions will be set up throughout the year at random dates however, if your business has a special event, a milestone anniversary or a key date happening in the coming months, please reach out to Jen at hamptonareachambercommerce@gmail.com as she will ensure your feature is scheduled to coincide with this important date.  Jen will also be in contact to ask for any key information you would like to have shared and highlighted in your feature and if there is anything needing update on your online profile.

In addition to these offerings, you can expect the annual events that we put on through the Chamber each year including:

  • Annual General Meeting & Mixer
  • Golf Tournament
  • Small Business Week Event
  • Shop the Town Christmas Event
