The HACC has a number of standing committees as well as ad hoc committees that are struck for special projects as needed. These committees help support the mission of our Chamber and assist us in achieving our vision. The committees are of board members as well as non-board members. We encourage you to contact us if you have interest in learning more or in joining one of our committees. Some of our committees include:
Membership Committee - Mandate: To help retain, promote and grow the Chamber membership; to demonstrate the benefits of the HACC and to support the Hampton area business community.
Events Committee - Mandate: To assist in the planning and organizing of events such as networking events, Christmas events and more.
Nominating Committee - Mandate: To ensure the Board consists of a minimum of 9 and maximum of 15 members at all times.
Additional Committees that are active at various times include: Strategic Plan Committee; Small Business Week Committee, Golf Tournament Committee, Economic Development Committee.
